We meet regularly for group meditations and cooperatively sponsor visiting teachers from all schools of Buddhism. Our goal is to create a community for meditators who are interested in Buddhism, whether they adhere to the views of one tradition or want to learn from teachers, but we maintain an open, respectful environment where each practitioner can find or stay true to his or her path. As a group, we keep ritual to a minimum and sit in silence to provide a space where we can support each other in meditation. Events are held at Unitarian Universalist Church in the Jefferson Building, with Silent Meditation and Dharma Talks every Sunday 3:30-5:30 & Monday 7-9. Silent Meditation Only: Wednesday 12:15 - 12:45.
